Sports have always been encouraged by schools and colleges because playing is considered as important as studying. All the students are not the same some are good at sports and some are good at studies, the school and colleges explore the potential of students and train them so that they can have a future perspective to be considered. The schools and colleges set up various training sessions and teams to know the potential ad capabilities of students. Schools & Colleges organize sporting events as co-curricular activities and students can participate in the same. The new team to be set up is a hockey team at the Ave Maria University. Hockey is a sport which can be played in both summer and winter and is a great sport to play. Hockey can be played in various ways and ice hockey and field hockey are mainly considered. In this game, two teams play for a ball and put the ball in the goal. The game is played with a curved stick and ball and has been a part of many cultures.
